Convertible sofa bunk bed is space savers in a bedroom as additional space created is well used. It can be difficult to incorporate a set of bunk beds without having the bunk overtake the entire room. Take some time to design your room before putting bunk beds in it and think of ways to incorporate storage in your bunk design.
Place the bed bunk against the wall so that the beds run parallel to the wall. This prevents the beds from taking up a lot of space in the middle of the room. Try and keep the floor open, especially in a child’s room, so you can still play and the room seems less messy. Pick bunk beds that have built-in storage functions such as drawers under the lower bunk or built-in bookshelf in the headboards. Hang a shelf above the top bunk to give the sleeping person extra storage space instead of a traditional bedside table.
Make sure there is space for a small office or game area or space under a top bunk in a sofa area. If you need only one of the beds in the bunk bed, the lower bunk area can become a place for a desk. Some sets of bunk beds are convertible in this way, or you can buy a loft bed with space for other items underneath. Remember to make televisions and video game monitors easily visible on the top and bottom of the bunk. To save space and make this possible, it may be beneficial to hang the television from an opposition wall.
